Scavenger – MyInovasi 2014 Competition

Being a tropical climate country, ample of fallen leaves causes drainage to clog easily. This is worsening by the attitude of the community that litters irresponsibly and neglects the importance of proper waste management around their neighborhood. Stagnant water facilitates the spread of water-borne diseases such as dengue. Moreover, the conventional cleaning process of drainage also prove to be inefficient and tedious.

The proposal is an innovation that acts like a “vertical shifter”, trapping rubbish and fallen leaves for easy collection. It is then applied in the form of collapsible plastic container, giving it the extra edge of being economical.
