MH17 Memorial Park Competition
The memorial park is a place for everyone to remember moments of love, lost, lives, etc. It reminds us of who we are as a mere human being. The spaces focus on evoke human 5 senses, sight, sound, touch, taste and smell. Dark interiors with rays of light from scattered small holes at unreachable height at last perplexing pit represent helplessness. Desperate call from hidden crying closets echoes through last perplexing pit. Victims name carved at 1.3m across wall of last perplexing pit for hunt and embrace. Columns of 250mm radius allow visitors to clasp on to loved ones. Last depressed infinite is sunken beneath water level with glass walls and floors. Visitors express their feelings by leaving temporary messages on the glass surface. The whole journey of memorial park expressed depress and darkness to memory the incidents of MH17.
