Folly

The initial idea was to use exposed structure and controlled chaos to create a sense of deconstructs. Due to the unstable structure, the idea was replaced by using a certain character to show the folly design. I decided to use elephant as the main character in my folly design. The body of the elephant acts as the way to reach the Tower (head of elephant). The design intentionally made incomplete; the adjacent pieces will never touch each other.

The idea of using elephant as my Folly abstracted from a picture (diagram 2.2).The picture shows the elephant being tortured by humans. The bad attitude of humans towards animals is against moral values. I decided to put the timber framework pass through the panels to show the cruelty of humans towards animals. The folly was to awake people appreciate animal’s life. My folly used timber framework as a main support system. The square timber framework (diagram 2.3) arranged systematically into a big size square structure.
